Wet weather did not postpone the Hormigueros-San German ballgame.

The Hormigueros Companeros grabbed a win, 9-1, over the San German Hermosos at Parquecito de San Germán. Hormigueros second baseman Wes Starratt hit 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. Hormigueros currently is in 8th place in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Lola Rodríguez de Tió at 35-36.

With Hormigueros leading 3-0 in the top of the second, Starratt hit a fastball from Katsutoyo Mori for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Companeros ahead, 6-0.

"What a dismal performance," lamented losing manager Eduardo Castañeda.
