Tramantes Rally to Win

The Sabana Grande Tramantes topped the Hormigueros Companeros, 6-5, in Liga Mariana Bracetti action at Parquecito de Sabana Grande. The game was highlighted by the performance of Sabana Grande pitcher Nevin Gould. The winner in relief was Tobias Leth. He is now 5-5. The left-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.1 innings. At 27-48, the Tramantes claim 11th place in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Lola Rodríguez de Tió.
Had Hiroaki Fujioka not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and runners on 1st and 3rd, Fujioka hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Tramantes.
"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Gould.
