Hermosos Lose Versus Yauco, 6-4
|
Yauco took on San German in front of a lively crowd.
The Yauco Napoleonicos racked up a win at Parquecito de San Germán, bumping off the San German Hermosos, 6-4. Eneas Hernández, who started for Yauco, pitched effectively for his team. Felipe Custodio was called on to finish, recording his 9th save.
In the top of the fourth inning of a 3-3 tie, Yauco left fielder Conroy O'Brien reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It broke the deadlock and put Yauco on top, 4-3.
"We'll pocket this win," said O'Brien, "and then go after another."
With the win, Yauco raised its record to 46-29.
