Sanford Shuts Out San Sebastian, 1-0
|
Malik Sanford of the Lares Gritantes was cool and collected on the mound, leading his club to a shutout victory over the San Sebastian Husares, 1-0.
"He was mixing his pitches real well and keeping his composure on the mound," Lares manager Roberto López said later. "When Malik does that, good things happen."
The right-hander had 7 strikeouts, 4 walks and allowed 4 hits in the win.
