The Yauco Napoleonicos and Juana Diaz Principes provided some drama for the home crowd.

Rubén Latorre was a major factor in the 6-5 Juana Diaz win over Yauco. The Principes center fielder went 2-4 with a double and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Charles Evans was credited with the save for Juana Diaz, his 5th of the season.

Had Felipe Palomo not delivered a key base hit in the top of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Palomo hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 6-5, in favor of the Principes.

"We'll pop the top on a cold beverage and get back to work tomorrow," Latorre said.

The defeat makes Yauco 50-33.
