Hagino reaches base 5 times to Power Sabaneros Offense
|
At Parquecito de Aguas Buenas, the Aguas Buenas Testarudos and Cidra Sabaneros were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Cidra Sabaneros beat the Aguas Buenas Testarudos by a score of 10-0. Cidra designated hitter Giichi Hagino deserved the lion's share of the credit. Hagino went 2 for 2 with a home run and 3 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once for the Sabaneros. Cidra pitcher Isabelino Gallegos got the win. He's now 1-5. Ananías Ochoa was tagged with the loss.
With Cidra leading 4-0 in the top of the second, Hagino came up to bat against Aguas Buenas pitcher Ananías Ochoa. Hagino hit a sinker to left for a 3-run home run. His 9th home run of the season put the Sabaneros on top, 7-0.
"Every time I go up there, I try and hit a ball hard," said Hagino.
The last-place Testarudos now sit at 20-63.
