The skies opened up and the rain fell at Parquecito de Caguas.
Caguas left fielder Stephen O'Neill had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 10-7, to Morovis at Parquecito de Caguas. O'Neill was 1-3 with a home run and a walk, while scoring 2 and driving in 4. Morovis goes to 35-50, Caguas to 37-50.
The Excepciones benefited from a costly error in the top of the eighth. With Meany Ross at bat and Morovis leading 5-4, the Caguas miscue allowed Morovis to plate 1 and take the lead, 6-4.
Excepciones manager Camulógeno Castrejón wasn't all too pleased, despite the win, telling reporters that the performance highlighted some clear areas for improvement moving forward. He refused to be more specific, however. "I'm not gonna publicize our weaknesses," he said. "That stuff stays in the clubhouse."
