Rodríguez Lifts Picachos to 8-3 Win
The Jayuya Picachos defeated the Corozal Maduritos, 8-3, at Parquecito de Jayuya. Leading the charge for Jayuya was third baseman Yohei Rodríguez. He was 3-4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 6 runs and scored once. The third-place Picachos improved to 50-37.

With Jayuya leading 4-3 in the bottom of the sixth, Rodríguez batted against Corozal pitcher Alastair Ormiston. Rodríguez hit a fastball to right for a grand slam home run. His 4th home run of the season put the Picachos on top, 8-3.

"It was a tough day, no getting around it," said losing manager Carmelo Nava.
