The Santa Isabel Petisos and San German Hermosos provided some drama for the home crowd.

In a tight tilt between the San German Hermosos and the Santa Isabel Petisos, Luis Moreno was the deciding factor. The San German right-hander spearheaded the 2-1 win. Belerofón Caraballo picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 4-6. Walt Kirkpatrick suffered the loss.

San German took a 2-1 lead on Oldrich Koudelka's 3rd double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Koudelka hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Santa Isabel pitcher Walt Kirkpatrick visibly frustrated.

"We'll sip on a cold one and savor this win," said Koudelka.

San German is now 39-50, Santa Isabel 57-32.
