Buzoku Stars in 5-3 Guapetones Win
|
Parquecito de Ciales was the site for Liga José Padilla action featuring the Orocovis Behiques and Ciales Guapetones.
Ciales left fielder Zef Buzoku made his presence felt in the 5-3 Guapetones triumph over the Orocovis Behiques. Buzoku was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3. Fergus Buchan, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 10th save.
Buzoku had a timely hit for Ciales in the bottom of the eighth. With Ciales trailing 3-2, he turned a 0-1 fastball into a 2-run home run. It was his 4th home run of the season, making it 4-3, Ciales.
Buzoku said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."
With the win, the Guapetones have a record of 49-40.
