Anasco picked up a win at Parquecito de Quebradillas, bumping off the Quebradillas Escondidos, 4-2. Pitcher Zeferino Zalazar was a major reason the Guerreros emerged victorious. Anasco, at 53-37, holds down third place in the Liga Mariana Bracetti División Manuel Corchado y Juarbe.

Raúl Martín found himself in a pressure situation in the top of the eighth. Facing Quebradillas hurler Carlos Esparza, the 21-year-old catcher drew a walk, driving in 1 run. His 36th walk of the season put the Guerreros on top, 3-2.

"I got in a good groove," said Zalazar. "I was getting some swings and misses."
