The Comerio Aranitos beat the Caguas Ruidosos, 10-4, at Parquecito de Comerío. The Aranitos got a fine performance from third baseman Rory Simpson, who went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 runs and drove in 4. Katsusuke Watanabe went 8.2 innings, allowing 4 runs on 9 hits. The left-hander struck out 12 and walked 4. With the win, he ups his record to 8-8 this season. Comerio, at 51-40, occupies 4th place in the Liga José Padilla División Eugenio Ortiz.

Tied up with the Ruidosos in the bottom of the fifth inning, the Aranitos got a boost from pinch hitter Mathis Picot. With the bases loaded, Picot saw a 0-2 fastball from Sebastián Price and hit a run-scoring single to break the stalemate and put Comerio on top, 4-3.

"Winning the game is always the first objective," Picot said.
