Down to Defeat Go Chiringas, 3-1

The Ceiba Comesopas picked up a win at Parquecito de Ceiba, knocking off the Juncos Chiringas, 3-1. On the mound for Ceiba was right-hander Aidan Crawford. He played a key role in the triumph. Ellis Farrell notched his 5th save of the season. Ceiba has a record of 36-56, placing them 12th in the Liga José Padilla División Rosendo Matienzo Cintrón.
Lewis Cook had a big 2-run home run for the Comesopas in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Ceiba leading 1-0 and a runner on 2nd, he sized up a fastball from 19-year old right-handed pitcher Wade Allen and punished it. The result was his 4th home run of the season, which put the Comesopas on top, 3-0.
"This game will punch you right in the mouth," said Crawford. "My job is to show up and give my team a chance."
