Idiofonos Keep Reeling Off Wins
Despite a fine performance by shortstop Atilio Razo, the Hormigueros Companeros lost to the Penuelas Idiofonos, 9-7. Razo was 2 for 3 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Penuelas reliever Munoto Tsuda picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Alfredo Chávez absorbed the loss. Terry Reeves was credited with the save for Penuelas, his 4th of the season.

Penuelas catcher Aca Maric helped the Idiofonos go up, 8-7, in the bottom of the seventh inning. With the game tied, Maric hit a run-scoring single off Hormigueros pitcher Alfredo Chávez.

"You start putting runs on the board and winning, everyone's going to get excited," said Maric.
