Morovis Wins, Robinson 4-for-5

Morovis beat Corozal in a rain-soaked ballgame.
Behind a solid performance from shortstop Aidan Robinson, the Morovis Excepciones defeated the Corozal Maduritos, 7-0. Robinson went 4-5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 3 for the Excepciones. Getting the save was Daniel Lausman, his 1st.
With Morovis leading 4-0 in the top of the sixth, Robinson came up to bat against Corozal pitcher Felipe Vásquez. Robinson hit a sinker to left for a 3-run home run. His 7th home run of the season put the Excepciones on top, 7-0.
"We all want to win," said Robinson. "We all want to do our part."
Morovis is 12th in the Liga José Padilla División Eugenio Ortiz with a record of 37-57.
