The Guatire Heroes picked up a win at Estadio de Guatire, knocking off the Caracas Sultanes, 6-2. Starting pitcher Ferdinando Osuna played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Caracas 17-19.

Ananías Heredia had a big 2-run double for the Heroes in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Guatire leading 1-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from Luis Martínez, who is tied for 10th in the LE in wins with 4, and swatted a double to left-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Heroes ahead, 3-0.

"I made a lot of good pitches," said Osuna. "I was right where I wanted to be."
