Atunes Lose Late to Timoneles
Rosendo del Toro, who is tied for 9th in the LE with a 2.4 K/9 rate, was locked in. The right-hander led the Puerto La Cruz Timoneles to a 5-4 win against the Cumana Atunes at Estadio de Puerto La Cruz. At 34-24, the Timoneles find themselves in second place in the Liga Este.

The Timoneles got a clutch hit from second baseman David Cuevas. In the bottom of the tenth, he hit a run-scoring single to right, to win the game for the Timoneles.

"Rosendo did a nice job," said Timoneles manager Egidio Martínez.
