The Maracaibo Independientes and Barquisimeto Crepusculares completed their game despite the inclement weather.

The Maracaibo Independientes grabbed a win, 6-5, over the Barquisimeto Crepusculares at Estadio de Maracaibo. Maracaibo second baseman Félix Breceda was 3-5 with a double and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Práxedes Vega picked up the win with 9 innings of work. He allowed 5 runs on 8 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 1. On the season, he is now 10-6.

The game was decided with two out in the bottom of the ninth. With Maracaibo trailing 5-4, Breceda hit a fastball from Esteban Delgado for a 2-run double. In the blink of an eye, the Independientes had a walk-off win.

"Every time you put a 'W' on the board is always good," said Breceda.

The second-place Independientes hiked their record to 46-29.
