Mascherati Cut Down Chasomjeritchi, 5-3
|
The rain came, as predicted, but the Venezia Mascherati and Praha Chasomjeritchi were able to complete their ballgame.
Though he had a terrific game, Vlastislav Baca could not prevent his team, the Praha Chasomjeritchi, from absorbing a loss. Venezia won the game, 5-3. Baca was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Praha is 11-13 after the defeat.
With Venezia leading 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Oliver Hernández hit a run-scoring single off Praha pitcher Otik Brabec. It put the Mascherati ahead 4-2.
"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Hernández told the Venezia Observer.
