Bojovnitsi Coast to 12-2 Victory
Rain could not dampen the pregame excitement of Wien fans. But the subsequent loss, and a disappointing one at that, to the Bojovnitsi had to.

The Bratislava Bojovnitsi cruised to a win over the Wien Albtraeume, 12-2, at Freud-Stadion. Richard Čuda led the way, going 3-for-5 for Bratislava. Bratislava starter Dominik Forejt was credited with the win after throwing 139 pitches over 9 innings. His record now stands at 7-1.

The Bojovnitsi got a lift from right fielder Vaclav Trojan, who in the top of the second stroked a 0-1 fastball to center for a run-scoring single. It was his 37th hit of the season and put the Bojovnitsi ahead, 2-0.

Wien manager Antonio Padilla called the blowout loss "just something that happens."

The victory gives Bratislava a record of 22-17.
