Dedicated fans weathered the storm to watch their beloved Schaeffler beat the Kaufmaenner.

The Munich Schaeffler beat the Leipzig Kaufmaenner, 11-5, at Schaeffler-Park. Leonhard Cooper starred for Munich. He was 1-1 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Nicolas Pedersen got the win, improving to 9-4. He worked 8 innings, giving up 5 runs on 7 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 4.

Cooper contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Munich in the bottom of the fifth. With his team trailing 1-0, Cooper took a fastball from Imre Moser and stroked the home run to left-center. His 3rd home run of the season allowed the Schaeffler to leap in front, 3-1.
