The Wien Albtraeume picked up a win at Campo di Carnavale, knocking off the Venezia Mascherati, 4-2. On the mound for Wien was right-hander Roland Metternich. He played a key role in the triumph. The loss makes Venezia 35-37.

The Albtraeume got a big at-bat from right fielder Franz Alvintzi. For the game, Alvintzi was 1 for 3 with a home run and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 5th home run of the season gave Wien a 2-0 lead.
