Win Goes to Zmaji in Tight Contest
The inspired effort of Wien shortstop Tobias Prodoprigora was not enough to prevent a loss, 6-4, to the Ljubljana Zmaji. Prodoprigora went 3-4 with a home run and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. With the win over Wien, the Zmaji improved to 51-45.

Ljubljana needed the clutch hitting of Stane Krušec to notch the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Zmaji on top, 6-3. For the game, Krušec had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We ground out the win," said Krušec. "That's all that matters."
