The Stuttgart Vergaser downed the Munich Schaeffler, 6-5, in 10 innings. Valerius Noth led the way, going 2-for-4 for Stuttgart. Rudi Alexander, the winning pitcher, improved to 14-13. Noth dealt the big blow in the bottom of the tenth. That's when he launched a solo home run off Munich pitcher Emir Halil to win it for the Vergaser.
