The Kumamoto Kuma got a rain-soaked win over the Yamatokoriyama Kingyo.
The Kumamoto Kuma thumped the Yamatokoriyama Kingyo, 10-1, at Yamatokoriyama Fields. Eddie Duffy was a big reason his team got the win. Duffy was 4 for 4 with 2 doubles, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4. Kumamoto has a record of 2-6.
Makoto Yuki had a big 2-run double for the Kuma in the top of the third inning. With Kumamoto leading 3-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a slider from 29-year old right-handed pitcher Jaime Ramírez and swatted a double to right. It was his 3rd double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kuma ahead, 5-0.
