Teitoku Fall to Kuma Late
It was pandemonium at Kuma Stadium after an exciting walk-off win.

The Kumamoto Kuma handed the Kagoshima Teitoku a 6-5 loss in 20 innings at Kuma Stadium. Kirby Kavanagh was the star on offense. He was 4 for 10 with a double and 3 singles, while scoring 3 runs and driving in 2. Reliever Tokutomi Sakai picked up the win. His record improves to 1-2. Yasuyoshi Mizuno took the loss.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 20th. With one out, Kavanagh hit a fastball from Kikugoro Sasaki for a run-scoring single. The Kuma, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

Kavanagh described the clubhouse as "kind of rowdy" after the game.

Kumamoto goes to 4-8.
