The Kamakura Kodaibito beat the Aomori Hotaru, 6-5, at Aomori Grounds. Kamakura second baseman Masahiro Sasamoto had an outstanding performance. He went 2 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. The win was credited to Sougo Yamamoto in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Mitsuhiro Kawakami took the loss.

Kamakura used the clutch hitting of Kojiro Yamamoto to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a run-scoring double in the top of the 14th inning to give the Kodaibito the lead, 6-5. For the game, Yamamoto had 1 single and 1 double in 7 at-bats.

"We had situations where we should have got some runs in, but we didn't get the runs in," said losing manager Eliseo Apodaca.

Kamakura's record now stands at 17-21, placing them 6th in the Northern League.
