The first-place Matsuyama Kawauso picked up another win.

The Matsuyama Kawauso beat the Seki Katanakaji, 6-3, with major props going to second baseman Hisayuki Oe. On the day, Oe went 2 for 5 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for the Kawauso. Roberto Hernández picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 5-1. Quilvio Argueta, who is tied for 10th in the SL in complete games with 4, was tagged with the loss.

Matsuyama took the lead on Oe's 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run, which came against Quilvio Argueta in the bottom of the seventh, made the score 5-3, Matsuyama.

"Everybody is chipping in right now," said Oe. "That's what makes it so much fun."

The first-place Kawauso now sit at 32-14.
