Kingyo Get Hard-Earned Win
The Yamatokoriyama Kingyo knocked off the Fukuyama Komori, 3-2, at Yamatokoriyama Fields. Junichi Koishizawa hit 3 singles and 2 doubles, while driving in 2 runs. Cleto Villegas picked up the win in relief, improving his record to 3-4. Miguel Mares, who is tied for 3rd in the SL in wins with 7, was tagged with the loss. The Kingyo raised their record to 23-30.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With one out, Koishizawa hit a sinker from Miguel Mares for a run-scoring single. The Kingyo, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
