The Barquisimeto Crepusculares beat the Coro Bizantinos, 9-6, at Barquisimeto Stadium. Barquisimeto left fielder Inocente Chávez had an outstanding performance. He was 3-4 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. Mateus Balieiro got the win, improving to 11-8. He pitched 6 innings, giving up 11 hits and 5 runs, while striking out 2 and walking 2. Miguel Cortez finished to wrap up his 7th save.

The Bizantinos had been locked in a 5-5 tie with the Crepusculares going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the three-time Acutísimo (LBPV) winner Marcos Frías came to the plate. Frías hit a 2-run double on a 2-2 fastball from Coro hurler José Shaefer. It was Frías's 12th double of the year.

Frías said afterward that "winning is what it's all about."

The win makes Barquisimeto 45-46.
