Teitoku Earn Clutch Win, 7-6
|
The Kagoshima Teitoku gave their fans something to talk about with a thrilling, walk-off win.
The Yamatokoriyama Kingyo got a superb performance from pitcher Jaime Ramírez, but the Kagoshima Teitoku still won the game, 7-6. Ramírez threw 5.0 innings of 2-hit ball. With the win over Yamatokoriyama, the Teitoku improved to 36-43.
Motosugu Ishizuka was the walk-off hero for Kagoshima. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Teitoku left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
"It's nice to come out on top today," said Ishizuka.
