Okamoto, Hakuchoh Too Much for Kamome
Niigata second baseman Masayuki Okamoto contributed significantly to his team's 13-1 win over the Fukushima Kamome. Okamoto went 4 for 4 with 3 runs scored to lead the offensive attack for the Hakuchoh. Niigata sits in second place in the Northern League at 51-41.

Early in the game, Okamoto had a 2-run triple for Niigata. It was his 3rd triple of the season and put the Hakuchoh on top, 2-0.

"That game had disaster written all over it," said Fukushima skipper Belerofonte Bernal. "I could feel it."
