The Kamakura Kodaibito beat the Takasaki Sakura, 8-2, at Sakura Park. Shigekazu Miyazaki, who is tied for 9th in the NL in triples with 4, starred for Kamakura. He went 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. The victory puts Kamakura at 39-57.

Kojiro Yamamoto had a big 2-run triple for the Kodaibito in the top of the first inning. With Kamakura leading 2-0 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a curveball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Cristón Cantú and swatted a triple to center. It was his 2nd triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Kodaibito ahead, 4-0.
