The Fukushima Kamome reigned over the Sabae Megane-ten in damp conditions.

The Fukushima Kamome topped the Sabae Megane-ten, 4-0, in Northern League action at Megane-ten Grounds. The game was highlighted by the performance of Fukushima pitcher Baudelio Hernández. The Kamome sit in 4th place in the Northern League with a record of 51-49.

Fukushima used a timely hit from Guillaume Perrin to get the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kamome ahead, 1-0. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it made an impact.

"This isn't football or hockey where you can overwhelm your opponents," Hernández told the Fukushima Herald. "Everyone gets 27 outs and we happened to make the most of them."
