Kodaibito Rally to Win
The Kamakura Kodaibito stopped the Takasaki Sakura, 6-4, in 12 innings at Sakura Park. The Kodaibito got a big game from Shiro Kondo, who went 4-5 with a double, 3 singles, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Kamakura reliever Brownie Foreman picked up the win, upping his record to 3-6. Ricardo Chávez took the loss. The win makes Kamakura 47-59.

Kondo had a game-changing double in the top of the 12th. On a 0-2 cutter from Ricardo Chávez, he banged a run-scoring double to left, giving the Kodaibito a 5-4 lead. It was the 15th double of the year for Kondo.

Kondo said afterward that "winning, obviously, is the main objective."
