The Morioka Ayame beat the Aomori Hotaru by a score of 5-4. Morioka center fielder Yashiya Sakamoto deserved the lion's share of the credit. Sakamoto went 1 for 1 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times for the Ayame. Morioka reliever Shigefumi Usui picked up the win, upping his record to 8-1. Josh Shields absorbed the loss. At 50-57, the Ayame find themselves in 5th place in the Northern League.

Marco García was the walk-off hero for Morioka. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Ayame first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
