The Kamakura Kodaibito picked up a win at Megane-ten Grounds, knocking off the Sabae Megane-ten, 3-1. Starting pitcher Leo Marrón was a big reason why. Their 47-62 record puts the Kodaibito 7th in the Northern League.

Kamakura used the timely hitting of Masahiko Masukawa to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Kodaibito on top, 2-1. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It was our day today," Masukawa told the Kamakura Observer. "But we've got to keep our nose to the grindstone."
