Kamome Suffer One-Run Loss at Morioka
The Morioka Ayame beat the Fukushima Kamome, 6-5, at Ayame Park. Morioka designated hitter Reece Rodger had an outstanding performance. He was 2 for 4 with a triple, a double, and a walk, while adding 3 RBI. With the victory, the Ayame record stands at 55-61.

Rodger had a game-changing double in the bottom of the sixth. On a first pitch fastball from Baudelio Hernández, he banged a 2-run double to center, giving the Ayame a 5-3 lead. It was the 38th double of the year for Rodger.

"You know, at the end of the day, it's about who scores the most runs," said Morioka manager George Fields.
