Fukuyama Absorbs 4-2 Loss to Yamatokoriyama
The game between Yamatokoriyama and Fukuyama is in the books, despite a little rain.

Yamatokoriyama pitcher Gilberto Ramos had a large part in his team beating the Fukuyama Komori, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Charlie Geggus finished the game for Yamatokoriyama and earned his 8th save.

Yamatokoriyama used a well-timed hit by Junro Arai to capture the win. The right fielder socked a 2-run double in the top of the first inning to put the Kingyo ahead, 3-0. Though it was his only hit in 4 at-bats, it was important.

"They played a better game than we did," said Fukuyama skipper Mateo Castañón.

By defeating Fukuyama, the 6th-place Kingyo improved to 56-59.
