The home crowd had a good time watching the Guatire Heroes and Angostura Amargados get after it.
Riding the 3-hit performance of the 28-year old right fielder Wilfredo Zavala, the Angostura Amargados defeated the Guatire Heroes, 6-1. Samuel Gómez earned the win after being brought in from the bullpen. The left-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 1.2 innings. His record is now 2-0.
The Amargados picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"It's the best feeling when you come through for your teammates," said Zavala.
With the win, Angostura upped its record to 72-50.
