Artists Win Extended Game 1 Duel with Dukes Behind 2 HRs From 3B Salas
The Taos Artists took the first game of the Interdivisional Series in dramatic fashion, topping the Albuquerque Dukes, 6-5, in an extra-inning walk-off win. Artists designated hitter Aimar Salas hit 2 home runs. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Salas hit a fastball from Marco Antonio Santiago for a solo home run. The Artists, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

In postgame comments, Salas said he was glad to contribute to an exciting win.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Taos Grounds in Taos.
