CF Mann Lights Up Vigias for 6 RBIs as Calaveras Tie SE
|
The Michoacan Calaveras defeated the Veracruz Vigias, 7-4, in Game 4 of the Serie Eliminatoria. Making an impact was center fielder Les Mann, who slugged 2 home runs, while adding 6 RBI and scoring twice. The win moves Michoacan into a 2-2 tie with Veracruz in the series.
Mann had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh, when he hit a grand slam home run. The Calaveras went on to win.
"I like the roll we're on," said Michoacan manager Pablo Sánchez.
The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Parque de los Vigías in Veracruz.
