Holguin Sweeps into the Campeonato de las Ligas
The Trinidad Tabacaleros were simply overmatched by the Holguin Pericos in the Campeonato Interdivisional.

The end result was a sweep, as Holguin has cruised to the Campeonato de las Ligas, with the final win coming at Campo de los Tabacaleros by a score of 2-1.

"We're clicking and running on all cylinders at the moment," said Larry Sisson, who was named MVP of the Campeonato Interdivisional. "We're a dangerous team when we play like this."

For the series, Sisson hit .455 with a .538 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 4 runs.

The Holguin Pericos don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Las Tunas Escultores - Manzanillo Martenos series. Las Tunas leads the series 2 games to 1. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Campeonato Interdivisional finishes.
