Sudbury Advances to National Championship of Canada
Sudbury Meteors won a nail-biting series against the Markham Wheelwrights 3-2, wrapping up the Pennant Championship Series finale 4-2 at Sudbury Grounds.

Meteors catcher Alfredo Domínguez was named the series MVP.

He batted .500, drove in 9 runs and scored 4 to lead Sudbury into the next round of play.

"Alfredo was real solid for us, real solid," said Meteors manager Jesús Vásquez. "I normally say I'd like to have nine of him out there, but thankfully we got by with just one this time."

The Sudbury Meteors will play against the Trois-Rivieres Trifluviens in the next round. Trois-Rivieres won their series against the Gatineau Draveurs 3 games to 2. The National Championship of Canada schedule will be announced after the Pennant Championship Series finishes..
