Loiza Sweeps into the Campeonato de las Ligas
The Loiza Pleneros outclassed the Naguabo Malditos in all facets of the game throughout the LJP Serie Interliga.

The end result was a Loiza series sweep to advance to the Campeonato de las Ligas, capped off by a 5-4 win in the final game.

"We're a bit surprised it's over in a sweep, to be honest with you," said right fielder Ramón Marroquín, who hit .571 in the series.

Marroquín's standout effort garnered him MVP honors. He also put up a .571 on-base percentage and had 1 home runs, drove in 1 RBI and scored 2 runs.

The Loiza Pleneros don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Guayama Aprendices - Cidra Sabaneros series. Guayama leads the series 1 game to 0. The Campeonato de las Ligas schedule will be announced after the Serie Interliga finishes.
