At Parque de Cumana, the Maturin Petroleros and Cumana Atunes were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.

The Cumana Atunes picked up a win at Parque de Cumana, taking down the Maturin Petroleros, 4-3. Starting pitcher Ramón Rodríguez was a big reason why. In 9 innings, Rodríguez surrendered 12 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 0. He allowed 3 runs.
