Valencia Stopped, 4-2, by Coro
|
The Coro Bizantinos beat the Valencia Industriales, 4-2. Coro pitcher and Catia La Mar, Venezuela, native Ferdinando Osuna led the way. The Liga Oeste-leading Bizantinos are 77-51.
Making an impact for Coro was first baseman Francis Olague. He drilled a double off Gamaliel Torres in the bottom of the second. For the game, Olague went 1-3 with a double and a walk.
"The only difference is executing pitches and not executing pitches," said Osuna. "When you don't execute, you get beat. When you execute, you usually give your team a chance to win."
