The umbrellas came out during the Puerto La Cruz-Cumana contest at Parque de Cumana.

A 4-RBI performance from José Lebrón, who is tied for 10th in the LE in doubles with 24, helped the Puerto La Cruz Timoneles beat the Cumana Atunes, 14-4. The Timoneles, at 72-58, have now won 4 straight.

Lebrón had a key at-bat for Puerto La Cruz in the top of the second. With runners on 1st and 3rd, he hit a 2-run triple. It was his 22nd triple of the season and gave Puerto La Cruz an early 3-1 lead.

"I like the roll we're on," said Puerto La Cruz manager Egidio Martínez.
