Fans witnessed a whale of a game between the Barquisimeto Crepusculares and Maracay Jardineros.

The Barquisimeto Crepusculares picked up a win at Barquisimeto Stadium, downing the Maracay Jardineros, 3-2. On the mound for Barquisimeto was right-hander Gustavo Cano, who played a pivotal role in the win. Barquisimeto reliever Eugenio Núñez snagged the win, upping his record to 7-3. Julio Berrones shouldered the loss.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the ninth inning, when Barquisimeto pinch hitter Nicolás Tamayo, facing Jonás Corona, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Crepusculares the 3-2 win.

"If you pitch well, you give yourself some opportunities," said Barquisimeto manager Ernesto Camarillo.
