The Angostura Amargados finished things off in style.

The Angostura Amargados did just enough to sneak past the Caracas Sultanes, 5-4, at Estadio de Angostura. Angostura pitcher Medardo Crosby, in particular, had a standout performance. Angostura, at 76-55, is 4 games up in the Liga Este.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the ninth. With no one out, Crosby hit a fastball from Víctor Hugo García for a run-scoring single. The Amargados, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"I liked his command," said Angostura manager Bruce Lowry. "Medardo was throwing strikes."
